What Should I Expect from Treatment with Restylane® Refyne?
You will experience very minimal—if any— pain with this procedure since the product contains lidocaine. A numbing cream can also be applied prior to treatment if requested to further decrease the chance of discomfort. One of our expertly trained practitioners injects the product into the target areas using an ultra-fine needle. The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes or less, and results are immediately visible.
There is little to no downtime required, however specific post-treatment care is necessary and will be discussed during your appointment. Patients may experience mild redness and bruising, which can be reduced by avoiding medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen and vitamin E for one week prior to treatment. The use of arnica and bromelain may also help some patients avoid bruising. Results can last for up to one year.
